I recently had the pleasure of working an out-of-state deal with Carey, as a realtor representing his buyer on a property in New York State. I felt the need to type this review up because he knocked it out of the park. From start to finish on this transaction he was on top of everything, super responsive, and just made the whole process easy for everyone involved. One of the things that stood out about this deal was the difference in the way that transactions are conducted here vs. Alabama where Carey’s office is based. When any questions occurred and there were several, he didn’t wait for people to ask them - He was always a step ahead, attentive to the things that needed assistance and did his best to keep all parties comfortable and updated. When issues arose, he had solutions ready before they even became problems. The buyer in this transaction was a family member of mine and Carey really looked out for them, working hard to get the best terms and made sure that we could all enjoy a smooth, well-run process. I haven’t always found that level of service in this business, and it was clear from the first phone call that Carey genuinely cares about what he does. If anyone looks for a lender who’s proactive and great to work with, he’s that guy!
